MEMORIAL TO OUR HORSES
P. 21
July 18, 2010

To all Club Members:

A Week has passed and I am still hearing of the nice job done by the club and what a wonderful thing the club does to help the therapeutic organization of the Red River Riders. In our small way we have taken on this as our major organization of contribution. After watching the demonstration this group did, it is clear of it's benefits and the heart warming gratification, not only to the participant , but also to those who watch, and observe the therapeutic benefits. The Joy, the smiles, the breakthrough a horse can make even to an Autistic child.
A Special Thank you to Sue and Cap Wallrich, who not only works with this group , but also got our club involved with it. Carol and Glen Westphal also work with the Red River Riders as volunteers.

Also a Thank you to our club members that really stretched their boundary to help put this on and make it happen by bring their horses the distance on a very hot , weekend day. Linda Driver, bring her Tenn. Walker. Terri Lang, bring her Mountain Horse. Antoinette Renmiester with her Arab. Amanda Sefeit-Ritter with her big boy Saddle Bred. Robin Thom and her Spotted Mountain. Cap and Sue Wallrich brought , Adikus the Mule and Sue her Mountain horse. Carol Westphal brought a Quarter horse. John Mondus with a KY Mountain, and let's not forget Julio on the oldest of gaited breeds, Galan the Peruvian. There were even more breeds brought by others, for this parade of breeds, from the smallest of minnies to the large Belgium. Rita Mondus narrated the program. Thanks to all that made this happen.

Doing things like this makes a club so worth while. Some time it is more then just the fun rides . This could not happen without everyone of your memberships. We should all be proud of our unselfish efforts.
